Dr. Marcella Bauman launched her comprehensive optometry practice in London’s Wortley Village in 1995 as a solo practitioner. By 2008, it had evolved into the multi-doctor optometry practice known as Old South Optometry.
Dr. Bauman retired from Old South Optometry in 2020. Since then, she has been focused on 2 of her passions: travel and photography. Some of her images can be found at www.baumanphotographs.com.

My goal was to provide comprehensive eye care in a compassionate fashion that maximized vision and quality of life. In doing so, I had the benefit of being supported by amazing team members and colleagues at Old South. I had the privilege of caring for many families and individuals for years, often across multiple generations. I value and respect the relationships that developed during my practice.”
