Dear patients, we value the time you spend with us and want to ensure that every patient receives the care they deserve. We want you to live your life fully, and we understand that life can get busy and appointments can sometimes be forgotten.
Over the past few months, we have experienced an increase in missed appointments and last-minute cancellations. We understand that unexpected things can happen, and we appreciate your help in giving us as much notice as possible so that we can offer the appointment time to another patient who may be waiting for care.
To help prevent missed appointments, our team is dedicated to sending appointment reminders by text message, phone, or email. In return, we kindly ask that you confirm your appointment when you receive a reminder. Unconfirmed appointments may be canceled.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice whenever possible. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient who may be waiting for care.
A note about missed or last-minute cancellations:
A rescheduling fee of up to the value of your scheduled exam may be requested for a missed appointment or a cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice when the appointment time cannot be filled.
Because we truly value seeing you, this rescheduling fee will be applied as a credit toward your next visit or toward other purchases at our office. We hope this reflects our intention to work with you while also respecting the time reserved for your appointment.
If a patient misses a second consecutive appointment, the rescheduling fee will become a no-show fee and will no longer be available as a credit.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. These policies help us respect everyone’s time while making sure that appointment times remain available for those who are waiting for care.
